I just received this mortise which FITS FINE IN THE DOOR, but the key lock is different. The door handle is from Andersen.
I have attached 2 pictures of the "OLD LOCKS" and the picture of the one you just sent.
I need to return and replace the new one from you and swap out for one that will fit my door.
Swap out lock just received Order #1822777 Part # 40-198

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble. Based on the photos of your old lock, I think the 40-194 would have been a better option. Just review our dimensions one last time to confirm that everything lines up.
