Tension Cord Hook 62-106

A quick learner from Olympia says:

The hook, at 9/32" is too wide for the opening in the sash into which it hooks. What can I do, quickly, to fix this? I just received 4 new balances from Swisco and am leaving town soon.

I am afraid we have never come across this type of matter before. I have known window manufacturers to cut their hole for the clip to accept yours and ours.
