Tilt latch identification and replacement

I'm afraid that we don't sell a tilt latch assembly that matches what you show here. I've honestly never seen it before.
Would it be possible to see a picture of where it installs on the window? I'm particularly interested in the top corner of the sash.

Sorry for the late response. I've included a photo of the same style complete sash from the same apartment. That is what it should look like. The other photos show the broken sash. The metal corner brace in the first set of photos I sent pretty much holds the vinyl corners of the sash together (inside) while supporting the plastic tilt latch. It gets held in place by the two screws on top of the sash and two screws from the side. The "yellowed finger slider" then snaps in from the top, through the vinyl and locks into the tilt latch which is spring loaded. This piece also hides the screws. Not sure if this helps.
Thanks for your help
Nick

Thank you, I appreciate the additional information.
We definitely won't be able to supply this latch, but we do have a possible solution you can consider. What I like to do in these situations is install a surface-mount tilt latch to the top of the frame. This supersedes the need for an internal latch like yours, which are traditionally hard to replace since they have to fit in such a precise space.
The catch is that you would need to drill new holes for any type of surface-mount latch you install here. That can be tricky since you have to find a spot free of any pre-existing holes while still making sure the latch does its job. This can often take a lot of trial and error and I frequently find myself having to try a few different latches before I find one that works. There really isn't an exact science to it.
For now, look through our full selection of surface-mount latches here. We have detailed dimensions for each product that you can use as a reference. The video below may also be helpful to you, since it shows our exact process.
