I know this is minor thing and I appreciate the help. This cam is cracked in 2 pieces. It has an 'H' engraved on it. Can you help?

We unfortunately don't sell replacement cams by themselves; in most cases, when the cam breaks you will need a new pivot shoe.

The good news is that we carry a ton of different pivot shoes so there's a good chance that we have what you need. Would it be possible to see a photo of the whole thing? I can then check our inventory and see if we have a good replacement option.

How do I remove the pivot shoe for a better picture. Also I'm sending a picture of the label if that helps identify the part.

Thank you! That is a huge help. That appears to be the pivot carrier for either our Series 161 coil balance assembly (9/16" thick) or the Series 210 coil balance assembly (7/8" thick). The only difference between them is thickness so you will need to measure that to verify a match.

As for removal, there should be a cutout at the top of the track; it will look like a rectangular notch roughly the size of the shoe. It may be covered by a sash stop, too.

I can't slide the boot up because it's blocked by a plastic piece. When unscrew that piece it has tension on it that pulls it down blocking the boot. The plastic piece is visible in the picture.

You would need to bring the shoe all the way up to that plastic piece, unscrew the plastic piece from the track, then take them both out at the same time.

Okay. Progress being made. Next problem, I get the boot up to the cutout but there is a coil inside the boot stopping me from pulling it out.

Also, the code M10 is imprinted on the boot.

Yes, this part is a pivot carrier specifically designed to carry the coil spring. Same as the bracket, you have to take the whole thing out at once.

To be perfectly honest with you, removing a balance assembly like this isn't the easiest thing in the world. They aren't made to just pop out easily, it takes a little elbow grease and it can be frustrating. However you do have to take the whole assembly out as one.
