Vinyl window in bathroom. Rusted pivot bar

A home owner from Ohio says:
Hello, would u please help us correctly identify the replacement pivot bar shown in the pictures.

The one shown comes from another window in the house. As u see in one of the pictures the pivot bar in the bathroom window, located inside the shower is fully rusted through.

Is there perhaps not only a replacement, but a more rust resistant option?

Your pivot bar looks like our 26-297 Pivot Bar. Take a look and see what you think.

Now, the 26-197 is made of steel so it will continue to rust, unfortunately. This specific pivot bar is not manufactured in stainless steel. After you install the new pivot bars, and before you re-install the new window sash, I recommend using a silicone-based spray on the tilt bar. You can also spray the end of the balances and the pivot shoe- repeat this every month or so. Be sure not to use an oil spray, it will attract dirt.
A home owner from Ohio says:
One more question please, can you recommend from the pictures a matching pivot shoe?

Without knowing more detailed dimensions (specifically the width and thickness), it's hard to say what can work. That said, see our 15-134, which is 31/32" wide and 3/8" thick. Could this work for you?
