Looking for the parts that makes the windows go up and down

A home owner from Las Vegas says:
I need a part for two of my windows I'm just not sure what it's called. It's the part on side that makes the windows go up and down. The windows are 30 years old.

I believe this is a spiral balance for a non-tilt window. You'll need to remove the spiral balance and gives us specifications. See the video below. From there we'll do our best to assist you. Read about removing and replacing non-tilt window spiral balances here.
