Window Screen Replacement Corners

Home Owner from Morgan Hill, CA
I'm trying to replace the plastic window screen corners on my house. All the screens are for the original Milgard windows that were installed about 22 years ago. No numbers or markings, but I have included photos with dimensions that should narrow it down. Your selection of corners is impressive, but without the part dimensions I'm having difficulty selecting the correct corner. Thanks for your assistance.

Unfortunately, we do not sell a replacement for this window screen corner. This was made by a company called Bayform, who operated from out of Canada and who went out of business many years ago. No other company took up production of their hardware.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you will need new screens. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you for your response. I wanted to check a few things before I replied, but I may have some info that would help your other customers. I wasn't willing to give up on finding a corner that would work for my Milguard screens (we have a lot of windows with screens) and did some experimenting. The corner, 95-205 is an exact fit with the exception of the flange that extends from the corner. I have found that the 95-205 is made of a rather pliable material (perhaps a vinyl?) and the flange can be easily trimmed with a sharp knife. I can trim the flange off in less than a minute per corner, which is very do-able for my project. Once removed, the corner is a perfect replacement. I'm sure some of your other customers looking for a corner for the older Milguard screen frames would appreciate this information as an option for fixing their screens. I hope this information is useful to you. Regards, Charlie
