Window balance

Question

A piece of plastic at the top of this non tilt window channel balance appears to have broken off and it is no longer functioning. It is labeled 25 5 IN CALDWELL, though interestingly my other windows that look identical have what appears to be the same kind of window channel balance except that it is labeled 25 5 DL CALDWELL instead. The metal portion is 26 inches long and is 9/16 inches wide. What replacement part would be appropriate?

Thanks for your photos. Based on what I see here, you have either our S380-26 or S385-26, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. That's the only difference between them. I recommend measuring your shoe and referring to our dimensions to confirm the best match.

Both stamps given are the same. It's important to keep in mind that the only important digits here are the numbers: in your case, 25-5. The other markings (IN CALDWELL and DL CALDWELL) are irrelevant.
