Window channel balance

Thanks
Markus

Thanks for reaching out to us, Markus. If all you needed were the balances then knowing the name of the manufacturer probably wasn't going to help you to begin with. These parts are identified by their physical design, not who made the window. The reason being is most manufacturers use generic, or at least off-brand parts. Few window manufacturers only use one kind of balance, and odds are your particular balance is used by dozens and dozens of different manufacturers.
Long story short, if you want to find a match, you have to go by the details. There is no name, code, or invoice that will tell you what you want. If it were that easy then my life would be a lot less complicated, that's for sure.
Now, we can help, but in order to do so I will need you to remove the balance from the window and show me clearer photos of it without obstruction. I specifically need to see the bottom end, top end, stamp, and whatever hook or clip is at the end of the cord. Please make sure the balance you show us is whole and undamaged, too. The more that's obscured or broken off, the less likely I'll be able to find something that matches.

One of these photos shows a stamp. I assume that the "32" indicates the length. In that case, I need 2 -32's and 1 - 28? unless I need to replace both balance la on each window, then double it. Please let me know if you need more Information. Thanks

You'd be shocked how many people just want to sell you windows instead of dealing with tiny repair parts like this. The good news is that balances are our specialty and I think I know exactly what you have.
Looking at your new photos here, it looks like you have our Series 795. This is notable for the "T" shaped pivot shoe you see installed on the bottom end. I'm very confident that this is what you want, but there are a couple of details that may or may not change what version of this balance you want to buy. I'll go over them one at a time.
The first is the length of the metal channel as it corresponds to the stamp. It seems that the stamping method your balance uses is a little different than ours. For our Series 795, the number on the stamp is identical to the length of the metal channel, but in your case I think it might be one digit less. You should measure the metal channel just to be sure, and then pick accordingly.
In your case you'll also have to weigh your sash on a scale to get the weight so that you can pick the right letter (A, B, C, etc.). These letters indicate how strong the spring is, so you want to be as exact as you can. We have a chart on each Series 795 page that tells you how much weight they support.
Finally, you should note that our Series 795 installs at the top of the window using a screw. There are some versions that use a hook, though. If yours has a hook instead of a screw, then it will have to be a custom order. Let me know if that's the case and we can work from there.
Otherwise, the Series 795 should be exactly what you want.
