Window crank repair

Quick Learner from Waikoloa, HI
The part that the crank handle attaches to, (looks like a bolt, or screw) is coming out and you can turn it to open the window but when you try to close, it pops right out of the mechanism.

Hello,

If the stem that the handle attaches to is broken, unfortunately, that means that the entire operator would need to be replaced. I would recommend starting by comparing the specifications of the 39-348 operator, which uses the 36-078 shoe studs, to your original assembly. If you would like new t-handles as well, see the 39-102. Thank you!
