Window latch handle

Question

I broke the handle off my window latch. I found youtube video that said start by opening window. That's the problem!
I tried to remove the cover by prying it off with a flat head screw driver but I'm not sure that is the thing to do. It didn't pop off and I stopped.

Thanks for posting! If you've watched both of the videos from our Swisco Youtube paged and still found them to be unhelpful, it is likely the lock will need to be cut out of the window. This is not something we suggest doing unless you are extremely handy. Try reviewing the videos below once more to see if they could possibly help with the issue you are having.
