Window won't stay ope

Question

I watched your video and when I took my window out I noticed that the pivot shoe is missing from both sides. Mine might be a different type though that doesn't use a pivot shoe? If so what do I do? If not, can I just buy two pivot shoes? The gentleman in your video said it was 15 111 size. Thanks

Thanks for writing in! The shoe you have here is a lot different from a pivot shoe, so the 15-111 would not be the replacement you need.

To confirm the right replacement, I'll need to see a photo of the shoe completely removed from the window channel. Please also confirm the length of the balance channel as well as the stamp from the metal channel.
