I have an anderson storm door and believe it is a model HD2000/2500. the top and second hingle pins appear worn and allow the door to move away from the hinge pin. it appears your repair kit 40-165 might be what is needed, but I do not know how to get the old pins and bushing out or how to put the new back into place. any help is appreciated. thanks.

Hello there! Normally these type of hinge pins are held in with pressure from the spring. To remove the existing pin, try to use a small screw driver to depress the pin and then try to have it pop out of the frame. To install a new one, put one side of the pin in and then depress the other into the frame. Let me know if this works for you, or if you have any other questions.
