How can I access the screws to replace the hardware for 37 year old Marvin windows? It looks like the wood covering part of the base would need to be removed. Thanks

Hello, This is a replacement window form the late1980's. The cam broke off on one side of the window and porbable would need to replace both coils. The window weighs around 15-20 lbs. The coil was unscrewd from the top to see what it looks like together. Thank you, John
