Does the 7/16 locking portion of the lock fit directly into the door jam? Both the door and door frame are made of aluminum, so there is no room for an error. When I tilt my windows in to clean, the sash bar knob breaks off. It almost seems like the pivot lock shoe is froze(immobile). The tag on my window says Willmar Windows LTD number 298 U-0.35-98. I need to replace the window tilt latch. The window is original aluminum window built in 1988. I am not sure the crrect model to buy. the picture of the keeper shows 13/16" in height but I can't tell for sure where that is measure from. The one I need is .909 from bottom of bracket to bottom of top of keeper so I am trying to compare as that will be critical in the lock worrking correctly.

I need handles to fit Pella casement windows. The number on the Pella handle 5801-408This is a short handle and it fits the spline. I would perfer a longer handle. Will your 39-109B work?
