Hello,

The nylon guide you are looking for would be the 21-108. The twisted metal is probably something like our 21-158 cotter pin. Depending on the diameter of the pin, you'll either need the 21-151 (5/16") or the 21-150, (1/4") nylinder. Take a look and compare the specifications of these parts to yours.

A quick learner says:
Doesn't look like a Cotter pin and bends easy, guessing it wrapped around bottom pin to stop it from dropping straight through the hole it's in, just guessing

I believe the former owners used a light wire to lock the pin. There should be a hole in the pin for the cotter pin. If not, we have lock on push nuts such as the 21-155 for a 1/4" pin and the 21-156 for a 5/16" pin.
