This coil balance is 1/2" in width and is stamped 840. Do you have a coil replacement that would match this?

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm afraid we can't identify this spring just yet. We would need to see photos of the pivot shoe so that we can narrow down the compatible springs. Would that be possible?

The pivot shoe measures the same as part # 15-140.

Thank you! Our 15-140 indeed looks like what you have here. The compatible coil springs are the 1/2" Series 150. As for the 840 stamp, the 8 indicates the weight so see the S150-8 8-pound spring.
