23" SERIES 795 CHANNEL BALANCE

A home owner from Florida says:

Your instructions for ordering are very good. I just want to ensure that I'm ordering the correct Balance. My old Balance is stamped "22.7 BSI"

I was going to order 2 each 23" SERIES 795 CHANNEL BALANCE Option B. Is this correct?

Thank You

Mike

If the metal channel, not including the attachments, is 23" long, and if the attachment is a T-Lock Shoe like our 15-195, then yes, you need an S795-23. Make sure your balance attaches to the top of the window jamb with a screw clip; let me know if it does not. Make sure the shoe your balance uses matches the 15-195, which comes attached to the Series 795 by default, rather than our 15-195B or 15-194. If you do need a different shoe, you can buy the one you need separately than swap them out.

Finally, your old stamp of 22-7 is from an outdated rating system. To know what stamp option to select, weigh your window sash. Stamp 23B would support a window sash in the weight range of 10 through 16 pounds.
