Alside Excalibur Window Springs

A contractor from Rochester NY says:
Hi, I have a friend who was ready to replace his 15 year old windows (they are Alside Excalibur windows. He has 3 windows with broken springs. I can get a picture of them if it makes IDing the spring easier. The springs are 1/2 inches wide. They are coil springs like the S152-8.

He also has one sash with a broken stud at the bottom of the sash - the stud fits into the slide in the track. Do you have those parts also?

If you have a video of replacing the springs, it would be helpful. I'm thinking he probably wants enough springs to replace ALL of his window springs....I think 8 windows.

Here's a picture - hope it helps. thanks.

Hello,

I would recommend removing your pivot shoe from the window to compare to the 15-177, which uses the Series 152 coil springs that you mentioned, along with the related items shown on our product pages.

It sounds like you may also be looking for replacement pivot bars that engage with the metal cam of the pivot shoe. If so, we would need to see a photo of the part removed from the window and written-out dimensions to compare to our inventory. Thank you.
