American Craftsman Series 70 24 X 32

A handy person from Milford CT says:
The clip at the top of the bottom sash that you push in to tilt the sash out for cleaning or balance replacement has come loose. Is there any way to replace it or does the whole bottom sash have to be replaced ?

Hello there. This is called a tilt latch. We may be able to replace yours, but it does look a little odd from this angle. Can you remove it and show us pictures from a few different angles? We'll do our best to narrow down what you need from there.

A handy person from Milford CT says:
I broke the latch taking it out. Taking it out doesn't match the instructions in the video. Here are some pictures I took after removing it. 1 is the right hand side latch which is still in place , the other is the broken one I removed and the last is the hole where on the left hand side where the the latch sits.

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble, but the good news is that we do have a replacement for this latch. See our 26-408. Just make sure that the dimensions all match up before you buy anything. If they differ in any way, let me know.
