Can a 14" four bar standard duty hinge (36-023) support a 48" x 24" wood awning window with standard or even 3/16" glass?

Thanks for writing in! I'm sorry to say that I would not be able to determine if the 36-023 would support your exact sash. Unfortunately, the sash size and the glass thickness do not confirm the total weight.

That said, I can confirm that that 36-023 can support a weight of up to 65lbs. If you need a hinge that can hold a heavier sash weight, the 36-023HD has a max weight capacity of 85lbs.
