Awning style window arm to window attachment

A contractor from Cville, VA says:
These windows are at least 40 years old. The attachment point to the wire bar on the window has a hollow tube or sleeve attached to the arm that is wrapped around the bar, likely slid in at one end while separated then the bar is attached to the window.

Thanks for posting! Your window operator reminds me a lot of our 39-389 Awning Operator Kit, with long arms. The sliding piece you are referring to is the shoe, which would be the 36-083 Andersen Shoe Kit. The compatible crank handle is part 39-286.
