Thanks for posting. Does the bottom attachment, or 'shoe', on the channel balance, lack side tabs, or what we call wings? See the diagram below for reference. It appears from your photos that the shoe lacks these wings, but it also may just be damaged; I am afraid I can't tell. Check an undamaged balance to be certain.

If the shoe indeed lacks wings, then see our S395-27. Use a stamp option of 2640. If you need the top sash guide also, see our 18-171

Thanks for the help. Here are pictures of a good balance, top and bottom. It appears that there are wings on n both the top and bottom. Which balance would I need?

Great, so at this stage it's a choice between the Series 380 or Series 385. The only difference there is the depth of the bottom fitting, as indicated by the diagram above. Your next step is to remove the balance and measure the bottom shoe as carefully as you can, then pick whichever size best matches.

Note that the depth of your shoe may be somewhat less than it once was; it's common for friction to wear the plastic down over the years. There's no exact science to it, so you just have to use your best judgment on that aspect. Just something to keep in mind.
