Thanks for posting. I'm confident we can help, but that stamp just tells us the balance's strength, not its identity. To know the latter, we need to see photos of the attachments on either end of the metal channel. The combination of attachments your balance uses will determine the proper replacement.

A quick learner from Covina, Ca says:
Thanks for the quick reply, the metal channel is 17" and attached are requested photos.

Thanks for your photos. Based on what I see here, you have either our S380-18 or S385-18, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. That's the only difference between them. I recommend measuring your shoe and referring to our dimensions to confirm the best match.

Note that you will also need to weigh your sash on a scale to determine the best stamp option, since 17-9 is not a viable option for either size. That doesn't mean we don't sell a weight rating that can cover the same range, but you have to get your sash weight to determine which is best.

My shoe depth is 1-3/32" and the sash weight is 19.4 lbs.

Great! Have you visited the S385-18 store page yet, then? The 1750 stamp option holds 17 through 20 pounds, so that should be perfect for your sash weight.

Please let me know if you had any other questions and I'd be happy to assist you.
