Broken part

A home owner from Florida says:
There is a plastic piece that connects the coil to the window so it will raise and lower easily. the plastic piece is broken on both sides

Many thanks for reaching out. Your broken part is the 15-180 coil balance shoe. This shoe attaches to Series 190 Coil balances. There should be a cut-out at the top of the track to remove the coil springs and pivot shoe. You would remove the screws from 15-181 nylon clip that the coil springs are held by, to release the coil springs so the pivot shoe can slide up. Let me know if that makes sense or if you have further questions.
