Broken vertical crank out windows

A quick learner from Sebring FL says:
The linkage outside of the crank one of the arms to help tip it out has broken the aluminum pen. Does not seem like we can get a different pin or bolt that will leave enough room for it to crank out. Assuming there is an aluminum pin or a small bolt with an eclipse on it that could possibly work. The plastic piece we showed you in the picture also has a crack in it. There is a plate on the window that says P. G. T. Inc.

Hello,

These awning window arms and guides are riveted at the factory when assembled, making them difficult to replace. I have used 3/16" pop rivets in place of the original machine rivets in the past.

I'm honestly not sure if you could use machine rivets since you would need to access the back end of the rivet to set it. Your guide looks similar to the 36-084 if you need to replace any of the slide bar guides. Review the dimensions below and see what you think.
