Casement Window Hinge Adjustment

A quick learner from Bluffton SC says:

I recently received my SWISCO 36-004-10 replacement hinges. They are a good match for the original ply gem hinges. Ply gem window hinges had a cam nut that allowed adjustment of window moving it slightly right or left in the opening.

I thought the 36-004-10 would adjust in a similar manner but the does not seem to be adjustable and the 75-034 adjustable hinge wrench does not fit. There is an adjustment screw on the hinge that is a bit of a mystery as to its actual function. Greatly appreciate your assistance.

Thank you for reaching out to us! The 75-034 is only used on the 36-048 hinge set. However, you can adjust the 36-004-10 hinge set using a 7/16" wrench. I hope this helps.
