Casement conversion

A handy person from USA says:
I have a case met window and when it's open the edge of the window is part way into the frame opening.
Which makes it void as in egress window? I need to change the hardware on it so that it opens on the exact edge of the frame and does not block any of the opening.
I was told you can help me get this hardware.
I heard you'll need pictures should I just take pictures or should I take pictures and then call?
And how fast can I get the hardware once we have identified it ?
Thank you,
Brian

Hi Brian, thank you for posting,

Start by taking a look at the egress hinge 36-090-10. I have used this hinge in the past to make egress on casement windows. Depending on the operator, you might need to move the operator over a few inches closer to the hinge side of the opening. Not sure how much opening you have to make up. With the 36-090-10 hinge depending on the hardware you should be able to make up 3 to 4" in the width.

This hinge is currently in stock, the lead time will depend on which shipping option is chosen at check out. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
