Channel Balance ID

A home owner from USA says:
I am seeking help finding replacement window balances for my windows. My balances are 23" in long channels with 141 stamped on the channel. The channels at ½" wide and 9/16" deep My windows do not have take out clips but rather there are plastic movable pegs in the top plastic clip of the balance. These pegs can be extended into the a hole in the window sash to hold the balance in place for removal.

I don't recognize this balance off hand, but we will do our best to find a good match. Please bear with us a little longer as we look into this.

A home owner from USA says:
Apparently the window manufacturer is Pan Am if that helps.

Paul from SWISCO responded:

That does help, thanks. You have an old Pan Am window that uses a custom side load channel balance. Your 23" balance will require a 19-035 top fitting and 15-007 screw on bottom shoe. This isn't a stock combination, which is why it has to be custom. The stamp of 141 should match our more modern 2210, for a sash weighing 5 through 8 pounds. Please weigh your sash to confirm this info since I'm not 100% sure.

If all of what I outlined sounds good to you, then all we need to know is how many you need. once I have the quantity, I will email you a purchase link and price quote for that quantity.
