Hello there. I believe the coil balance system is either the S161-10 10 pound system, which is 9/16" thick, or the S210-10 10 pound system which is 7/8" thick. See the diagrams below for reference. You'll need to remove your old assembly from the window to get a clean measurement and determine which series you need. Let us know what you find.

For the tilt latch, I'd like to see an undamaged version removed from the window and shown from a few different angles (side, top, back). That will help us narrow down your options.

Thanks for getting back to us. Bob isn't here today but I'll do my best to help.

Starting with the tilt latch, my top recommendation at this point in time is our 26-243 and 26-244. Your next step should be to review the dimensions we show for each piece to verify that these are the same size. Both are sold in beige.

As for the balance, you didn't provide any dimensions but just eyeballing it I think that our Series 161 is the right pick. You will have to measure yours to verify, though, so that should be your next step. Bob provided dimensions in his last response to you that you can use as a reference. You need to measure your shoe, review our dimensions, and determine if they match.

You also mentioned that the stamps are different on each side. That's no good; both stamps should be identical. That means you're going to have to weigh your sash on a scale and get its exact weight to know which one is best. If you tell me your sash weight, I can advise accordingly. Just make sure that you confirm whether you have the Series 161 or not, first. We can't go forward without that.

Lastly, these balances are compatible with many, many different pivot bars. We sell quite a few, but without the original to use as a reference I can't make a recommendation. Might you have another window in the house that uses the same hardware? If so, we can use that pivot bar as a reference.

A quick learner says:

Sash weight 18.4

Also need this with screws 5/8

Thanks. You still haven't verified if you have the Series 161 or not, which is a vital step. Right now that product is my best guess, so assuming that I'm right then I'd suggest using the 9 pound option S161-9. A pair of these can carry sash weights ranging from 17 through 18.99 pounds, so that should be perfect.

I highly recommend that you measure your shoe before you buy anything from us. Don't just take our word for it that this is the right part, measure it and confirm. That's not a step that you want to skip.

As for that plastic guide, see our 16-030.
