Coil and shoe

A quick learner from Pennsylvania says:
Hello,
I have these in a few windows in my home. Can you direct me to a replacement? One of the coils that I have appears to show a number 7 on it.

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. We don't sell this exact pivot shoe, I'm afraid. I can't promise this will work for you but I recommend you have a look at the Series 140. This part is 9/16" thick and 1-1/4" wide which are very crucial dimensions. In your photos, you say your old shoe measures 1/2" thick so we recommend you double-check this measurement just to be safe. Let us know what you find and we can go from there. 

Note, your pivot bar may not be compatible with the Series 140. With that said, take a look at the 26-398, 26-405, and 26-454 to start. You'll want to carefully review the specifications for each and compare them with your old pivot bar to see how they align. The most important dimensions to pay attention to are the hole placements so you want to make sure at least one of them matches up with your old pivot bar. The width of the pivot bar is also important as it needs to be able to fit into the sash. 

To determine the proper coil strength weight, you will have to divide the sash weight by two.
