Constant for balance replacement parts

Thanks for writing in, and for all the thorough information. This looks like a 15-199 Shoe. Are the coil springs 3/8" wide or 1/2" wide? If they're 3/8" wide, you have Series 165 Coil Balances, and springs stamped '5' should be replaced with the S165-5 5 pound springs. Let me know if the springs are 1/2" instead. This coil balance assembly is modular, so you only have to replace what's broken and can reuse old components. That said, if any of the springs are torn, it's usually best to replace all of them, even undamaged ones; otherwise, you'll find the new springs will make up for the weaker, older springs, and everything will end up wearing out faster. 

Finally, for the tilt latches, these might be the 26-243 and 26-244, which are very common; but review the dimensions below too confirm these match what you have. Let me know if this all makes sense, or if you have further questions.
