Do I need to replace the pivot bar as well ?

I'm looking at replacing the balance shoe on my window. It looks like the dimensions matches your part 15-177. My balance shoe system is a coil balance system.

The pivot bar in the window looks like this one: 26-360

Will the existing pivot bar work with this shoe or do I also need to replace the pivot bar to have something like 26-030 ?

Looking at the existing pivot shoe, I believe the Series 140 would be a better fit. This pivot shoe has a 9/16" thickness and 1-1/4" width. Please review and compare to see what you think! I cannot guarantee, but it appears that the original pivot bar should fit the metal cam in this style. 

If you need assistance with choosing the weight, we will need to know the weight of the sash. Thank you!

Indeed that looks like a good fit. There are two coils with the marking 7+7 on the case. Should I order the 14 then ?

Hello,

Yes, take a look at the S140-14 coil balance. With 14 pound coils on each side of the window, the overall weight of the sash should be 28 pounds. Please compare and let me know if you have any additional questions.
