Drawers Not Sliding All the Way Back

A quick learner from Washington DC says:
When I slide my drawers to close, the drawer doesn't slide all the way back. I've looked at a number of things and can't seem to find the problem. I'm thinking this isn't only happening to me.

To solve the issue. I push down on the drawer as I close it. As if to go o we something in the back of the draw hardware.

Do you have a solution on how to fix this or any advice. I find it hard to believe this isn't a bigger problem. I called in warranty on this prior Thomasville going out of business. Sad that they are gone. Any advice would be appreciated.

Also, do you know where I can purchase the wooden knobs. They are starting to strip.

Hi Doug,

Unforutnately, I can't be sure of what is causing your drawer to be out of alignment but I agree that it is likely due to a damaged part. I would recommend removing the drawer to check the tracks and brackets that attach to the back of the dresser for any damage. If you do find the problem part, we would need to see an undamaged version from one of the other drawers to compare to our inventory.

As for your drawer knob, we do not carry an exact match for your wood part but we do offer a few pull knobs, which we've related on this page for you to review. Take a look and see if you might want to swap out your original knobs to use one of our replacements.
