Float away door hardware

A contractor from San Antonio Texas says:

I need new nylon bushings for 16 doors. Not sure if caps are a 21-104 pin cap. Can you please advise me.

Thanks Jeff

Hello! Thanks for your patience. Keon told me that you had a longer-than-average wait time, and for that I apologize.

Looking at your photos, I don't think the 21-104 is what you want. The inside diameter of your cap appears to be 1/4" compared to this product's 3/16", so it would be way too small. To be honest, neither your cap or pins look like Float Away. It's possible they're older and not made anymore.

Some 1/4" caps to consider are our 21-100,  and 21-101. I'm personally leaning towards the 21-100 since it looks like your outer diameter is around 3/8", but it's admittedly hard to tell. That will be the deal breaker.

There could be a few different possibilities, depending on the diameter of the pin. Assuming that it's 1/4" then you could consider something like our 21-091, but in terms of style this doesn't look all that close. Like I said before, it's ultimately going to come down to size.

To be perfectly honest, when it comes to bifold door pins, a tape measure isn't going to serve you that well. If you have a pair of calipers then now is the time to use them. Get precise dimensions, then compare what you get to the products I've recommended. If they differ in any way, write your sizes out for me and I can see if we have something closer.
