Hardware has no markings

A quick learner from Suwannee FL. says:

Body is 12 in Long 3/8 in tubular and screws in at the top. I cannot seem to find the bottom connector that locks it to the window. Please help me if you can thank you Bill

Thank you for reaching out to us. Bill. It looks like you may have the non-tilt 3/8" diameter S400-12 with a 17-094 clip-on bracket. Take a look and see what you think.

After you remove the old balances and brackets, you would drop the new balance from the top of the sash and screw the tube to the top track hole, and do the same on the other side. With help, raise the sash and hold it in place while you cradle the spiral between the 17-094 bracket and clip it on the sash. Still holding the sash up, bring the spiral up to the sash, hook the 75-005 tool to the bow tie, and turn the spiral about three or four clockwise turns, you should feel the tension build in the balance and hook the bow tie to the bracket.

The balance looks correct I am in closing pictures of the clip because it is different. There are four pieces to the clip.

Yes, you are correct. Your old clip is attached to the spiral balance and then locked onto the sash. This style is no longer made. Our clip locks on the bottom edge of the sash and then the spiral hooks onto the clip.
