Hello! This keeper looks like a dead ringer for our 89-036 at first glance. I recommend that you review its measurements just to be safe. For now I think it's well worth considering.

Please let me know if you had any other questions you'd like me to address.

Good Morning Tom, I ordered the part that you recommended and all the measurements are exact except for the depth, the striker part that I purchase is skinnier by 2/8", see photo attached

The original part is 5/8" deep and the one I purchased is 3/8" deep so the lock does not reach the striker.

Please let me know if you carry the part I need.

Thank you

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble. I talked to the manufacturer about this and I'm afraid that a thicker version isn't available. Truth be told, I've never seen such a thing, but the proof is in your photo. It's very odd.

There are a few ways around it. Firstly, you can adjust the 89-036 keeper to push it forward a bit to compensate. You can do this by loosening the two screws at the top and bottom of the metal part, then turning the center screw to push it forward.

If that still doesn't give you enough, you can always pack out the installation screws with washers. If all else fails, that should do it.
