Help ID'ing 30" Window Channel

A home owner from California says:
30" channel - marked 'e C2940'

The mouunting hole on the window also appears to have been hollowed out a bit. Any thoughts on mounting? I'm thinking maybe a large diameter screw might work.

Hello!

Take a look at our S770-30 channel balance. Your stamp doesn't match any of the options we have, however. You'll need to  weigh your sash and refer to the chart under the product description on the S770-30 store page  to determine the appropriate spring strength option for your balance.

To mount your balance, you can use a plastic anchor, a longer screw to reach a window frame stud or drill a new hole about 1/2" below the damaged hole.
