Home window

A home owner from Seattle, Washington says:
Hello, I have several windows whose latch has broken. Additionally, the roller track which holds the window in and allows it to slide is also broken. Thanks in advance I was wondering how I'd track this down!

Hello, thank you for posting,

Please start by reviewing the style and dimensions of the 26-243 and 26-244 tilt latches to see how they compare to your originals. Let us know what you think!

For the coil balance assembly shown that keeps the window up when opened, compare the dimensions of the 15-087 housing pivot and 15-086 tandem coil housing. This housing uses the Series 180 coil springs. If you need assistance with choosing the correct weighed coils, please provide the weight of the window sash to move forward.

For the pivot bar that engages with the housing pivot, would it be possible to see if removed to see a closer picture? Thank you!

A home owner from Seattle, Washington says:
Thanks for the response! I have several windows just like this that simply fall out. They don't latch and it seems what allows it to move up have also broken. I'd like all replacement parts for 6-10 of these if possible. Thanks again!

Thank you for the additional pictures,

For the pivot bar, please review the dimensions of the 26-068 to see how they compare to your original.

For the sash lock, start by comparing the 90-274 or 90-278 along with the 90-282 recessed keeper.

Let us know if you have any additional questions!

If you need assistance with choosing the correct weighted coil springs, we will need to the weight of the window sash to move forward.
