How do I fix this on my window

A home owner from Fort Myers FL says:
I have 2 Milstone Single hung series 1000 windows. My husband couldn't figure out why the windows wouldn't open. He tried and tried and Low and behold it was because they were locked. Needles to say the plastic thing around the window at each lock broke. We're looking to fix this but don't know what we do. I measured the long piece that was broken an it measures 49.5 inches. Do you have those parts and if so can we order them. I'm sure we will need to find someone to install them but at least half the battle will be done. Thank you for your help and time.

Hi there, Denise. The broken piece you are referring to is called a snap-in glazing bead. You are in luck because we have a great deal to offer as replacements. We have known most customers who have Milestone Series 1000 windows to use the 55-194-6. Review the measurements and dimensions to see if this will work. If not, remove a piece from the window and send us a photo from an end profile angle. Take measurements and forward it over to us.
