How to replace 70-225 without damaging wood

A quick learner from Brooklyn says:
I seem to have cracked my previous strike and I'm keen to replace it! Is that possible? If yes, how do I remove it without damaging my wooden window frames?

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:

The 70-225 Pella strike looks like it is just a pressure fit. I would carefully try to pry it out of the wood frame. To do so, I recommend you try using two chisels or a thin flat blade screwdriver. What I'd do is work it all around a little at a time; don't just pry it from one end.
