Installation Instructions for item 39-234

A quick learner from USA says:
Hello. Do you guys have a installation guide for your RH mobile home operator replacement? I am looking at the window and it looks like I may have to remove the window from the frame to replace it but wanted to check with you first. Thank you!

The post I purchased was the
(1) 39-234 : RH Mobile Home Operator.

From what I saw it looked like the mounting rods were either friction fit or had screws through the rear that had to be accessed with the window removed.

Hello, thank you for posting,

We do not have an installation guide for this operator, but I am going to have one of our senior experts take a look to see if they have any tips or tricks. I will be in contact as soon as more information is available. Thank you for your patience!

Hello,

I have worked on mobile home operators in the past. From what I remember you need to remove the mounting screws on the operator and the other lower side bracket which hold in the bottom torque bar. Then you should be able to remove the operator from the torque bar from the outside of the window. You might not have to remove the torque bar from the window just loosen it up a bit to free the operator. Also use some type of spray lubricant like a WD-40 to help remove the screws.
