It sounds like the operator gears are stripped out, so the whole mechanism will have to be replaced. We may have a replacement for this but in order to make a recommendation I'll require a clear photo of the entire part removed. Would that be possible? I specifically need to see the design link arm. In the meantime, you can see our full list of possible replacements here. Please note that this style operator isn't as popular as it once was. There is a chance we don't have what you need to repair the window; I will of course try my best, but I don't want to get your hopes up. |

I completely understand your situation since I am familiar with the daily 3 pm storms in Florida. Unfortunately, the operator's arms are not visible in your new photos. All I can make out is the internal gear, which we can not use to narrow down your options. We will need to see a clear, unobstructed photo of the arms that attach the operator to the window linkage to determine if something on our inventory might work for your repair. |

It's tough to make out, but I think you have an operator like the 39-085, which has a side installation hole that's covered up by the wood trim on the side of the window behind the operator. Take a look and see what you think.

Looking at your new photos, I still think the 39-085 is the closest to your operator. It's still a little different, and due to the age of your window I cannot guarantee that it will work, but it remains our best and only option. |
