MI Window - Casement mechanism slips/skips won't close

A quick learner from Cedar Falls, IA says:
Greetings. I recently moved into a house with a window from MI Windows & Doors. The window won't shut all the way; when it's almost closed, the crank mechanism starts to slip/skip, leaving the window cracked open. I'd like to replace/repair the crank mechanism. I've attached a picture of the crank as well as what labels I could find on the window. Can you help me repair or replace this mechanism?

Hello,

I would recommend starting by looking over the two operator pairs related on this page. The determining factor would be the length of the arm that attaches to the bottom of the window sash. Take a look to see if one of these might work for your repair. Thank you!

Thanks, Casey! After some inspection, 39-014 looks to be exactly what I need. I just ordered one and will get it installed. If you don't hear anything back from me, assume everything went well.
