Milgard Window balancers 36" x 62"

A home owner from Boynton Beach FL says:
We have 8 Milgard windows that are 36" x 62" and 1 that is 52" x 62" and want to replace the balancers in each one. Would you please provide me with the part numbers?

Thanks so much for your help with this!

Hey there!

Based on the winged fittings shown here, I recommend our Series 380 or Series 385 channel balance. The best fit will depend on the depth of the bottom fitting as shown below. You will also need to refer to the stamp printed on the balance's metal channel to determine the proper option for your replacements.

Let me know if you have any questions!

The S380 shoe dimension of 1" matches our balancer but the number stamped on the metal near the bottom and opposite the show is "q 2920"

Will the S380 work OK? What is the overall length of the S380?

With a 2920 stamp, the metal channel should measure 30" long so you'd want the S380-30 since the bottom shoe is 1" deep. I also recommend the 2920 stamp option for your replacements.

Note that the differing-sized windows will have different stamps and lengths as well. The lengths of the Series 380 can be found on its store page
