Need Replacement Balance

A home owner from Santa Barbara, CA says:
Hi. We have a single hung aluminum Jeld-Wen window that needs a new balance. The code on the side says 1620. The little plastic tab broke. Any idea which one we need? It's 17" long x 1/2". Thanks!

Hello!

I recommend either our S380-17 or S385-17. The best match will depend on the depth of the bottom fitting as shown below. You will also need the 1620 strength option. Let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you for the quick response! The balance top (plastic clip) shown in S380 is a bit different from the one on ours. Ours is squared off and the one on S380 is angled. See photos attached of the one we are replacing. Do you see that being an issue?

Thank you!!!

No, I don't think it will be. Your top fitting is likely just an older version of ours.

OK! Thank you so very much!
