Hey there, Thanks for writing in! Your Simonton coil balance pivot shoe is no longer made but the good news is we do have a viable replacement solution that will work for your repairs. Take a look at our 15-259 Coil Balance Pivot Shoe. This is should fit well in the window track but be sure to look over the dimensions to confirm.

This shoe is compatible with the Series 159 Coil Balance. If all of your balances are stamped with a 408, then our S159-8 should work well as a replacement. You'll need to make sure to double check for nay stamps or markings. You'll need to replace the pivot bar with our 26-083. The compatible covers are the 15-255 Coil Single Support and 15-256 Coil Double Support. Take a look at the video below for an explanation on how to convert this balance assembly. |
