Need some window pivot lock shoe part match.

A home owner from Marfa TX says:
I need some help identifying some parts for a window.
The pivot lock shoes are broken. I can't find any way to get them out of the channel. The windows are aluminum so I can't use the spreaders. The existing springs are marked 2930 and the replacements seem to match the existing. The channel is 1 1/4 inches wide. I'm not sure this is the best system.

Hello, thank you for posting,

Your pivot shoe resembles the 15-105 along with the 15-056 retainer. Please review the overall style and dimensions to confirm a good fit.

Are you in need of a new channel balance as well that connects to the pivot shoe? If so, we will need to see a picture of the top of the channel to see how it installs into the window. We will also need to know the length of the metal channel.

For an aluminum window, we recommend reviewing the cut-out method shown in the video below. The only difference is that we recommend using heavy-duty snips to make the cutout on an aluminum window.
