NuPrime window replacement parts

A landlord from Bloomfield Iowa says:
  • 8). #2620 channel balances. 26 3/8"
  • 10). #1820.channel balance. 19"
  • 4). #2420 channel balances. 25".
  • 4). 90-042 NuPrime Window Sweep
  • 36) 18-110 NuPrime SeasonAll

Four windows with #2620 channel balances have balances on left side only - two windows with #1820 stamped balances have one on each side of upper & lower sash the other has one only one the upper & lower sashes. This is a rental unit?.is it possible someone has removed the balances from one side or is it normal to have a combination? Sending photos.  Thank you. Fred

Hello,

I agree that it is entirely possible that someone might have removed some of your balances since hung widows require balances on both sides of the sash to support them. As for replacements, it looks like you have either our S351, with a 15-002 bottom attachment, or S390, with a 15-001 bottom attachment. Take a look at the image below to determine which balance you'll need.

You'll also need a 2620 spring strength option for your 27" long replacement balances, 2420 for the 25" balances, and 1820 for the smaller 19" balances. You mentioned that the 2620 stamped balances measure 26-3/8" long. That is unusual as long as they are the same types of balances shown in your photos, which would have a 27" long channel, not including the end fittings. I would recommend double-checking your length measurements and ensuring that the end fittings are identical to the ones shown in your photos. Thank you!
