Nuair balancers

A home owner from Tampa FL says:

Kindly advise which balancer I need. Please find the photos showing the window label and stamp on the balancer. The measurement of the existing balancer is the length of the metal channel. Thanks

Hello there!

Our S380-30 or S385-30 are my recommendations depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. You'll have to measure as shown below to determine the proper fit for your repair. I also recommend the 2920 stamp option.

Thank you for getting back to me. Is the 2920 a third balancer? I see that my existing balancer has that stamp on it. I will measure the depth of the bottom shoe.

Emily from SWISCO responded:

No, it isn't a third balance. Your balance is stamped with the number 2920 which indicates the strength calibration. On the S380-30 and S385-30 store pages, you will see a list of stamp options; you'd want to select the 2920 option based on your old stamp.

A home owner from Tampa FL says:
Ok got it. The balancer I took photos of is a slightly narrower window. The balancers from the larger window were discarded and I dont have that stamp. Would you recommend a higher strength balancer for the larger window?

Emily from SWISCO responded:

In that case, we recommend you weigh the window sash on a scale to determine the proper strength option for your replacements. There's a chart that you can use as a reference under the S380 and S385 store pages that will tell you what option is best based on the weight of the window sash.
